The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and technically excellent Cybersecurity Delivery Consultant to be the cornerstone of our client success. In this role, you will own the end-to-end technical delivery and ongoing value realization of our Managed Detection & Response (MDR) services. You are not just an implementer; you are a trusted advisor who ensures our clients achieve the measurable outcomes promised in our "Joint Success Plan"βreduced risk, faster response times, and proven compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Role coverage: Provide the role-specific coverage required for π’ Green β Senior Cybersecurity Delivery Consultant (MDR Focus).
- Tooling: Use role-appropriate tools such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, Excel or Google Sheets, Teams or Zoom, SharePoint, and role-appropriate reporting or workflow tools.
- Baseline the security environment: Inventory assets, identities, data flows, privileged access, logging, endpoint controls, and third parties.
- Map control requirements: Translate security, privacy, contractual, and regulatory obligations into testable controls and evidence.
- Perform threat and risk analysis: Identify threats, vulnerabilities, likelihood, impact, safeguards, and residual risk.
- Define monitoring and incident workflows: Establish alerting, severity, triage, evidence preservation, escalation, containment, and notification.
- Manage remediation work packages: Assign findings, owners, due dates, exceptions, validation tests, and closure evidence.
- Produce security assurance reporting: Maintain control mappings, risk updates, incident records, remediation status, and executive reporting.
- Review project scope and source materials: Review the opportunity scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadlines, addenda, and client requirements that affect the assigned role.
- Confirm role requirements and dependencies: Identify required inputs, assumptions, constraints, interfaces, decisions, acceptance criteria, and dependencies before beginning assigned work.
- Coordinate project delivery: Work with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to align responsibilities, handoffs, schedules, escalations, and client-facing outputs.
- Prepare assigned deliverables: Produce complete role-specific analysis, documentation, recommendations, configurations, estimates, or technical materials required for the engagement.
- Communicate with stakeholders: Provide clear updates, raise risks and questions promptly, document decisions, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Support quality and readiness: Participate in reviews, resolve comments, maintain status information, and confirm assigned work is accurate, traceable, and ready for delivery.
